The Challenge

A Chamber Serving Its Community with Outdated Tools

The Black Chamber of Commerce of New Mexico (BCCNM) is a vital resource for Black-owned businesses and families across New Mexico. Their mission requires connecting members to financial institutions, business resources, community events, and grant opportunities.

Before CDM, this information was scattered across multiple external websites, manually updated spreadsheets, and email newsletters. Staff spent hours each week researching financial institution programs, copying data into documents, and responding to member inquiries about available resources.

Members had no way to know which financial programs they qualified for, no central place to discover community events, and no self-service access to the resources the Chamber had curated for them.

Automated Financial Institution Agent

The centerpiece of the Credit Readiness Program Dashboard is an intelligent agent that continuously monitors and indexes financial institution databases. Rather than requiring staff to manually research and update loan programs, the agent does it automatically.

How the Agent Works

Scheduled Database Scrubbing
The agent runs on a recurring schedule, visiting each financial institution's program pages to detect changes in loan products, interest rates, down payment requirements, and eligibility criteria.

Structured Data Extraction
The agent extracts and normalizes key program details (loan type, down payment %, income limits, special programs) into a consistent data structure regardless of how each institution formats their information.

Automatic Dashboard Update
Extracted data is pushed to the Credit Readiness Dashboard in real time. Members always see current program information without any manual staff intervention.

Change Detection Alerts
When the agent detects new programs or significant changes, it triggers an internal notification so the BCCNM team can review and highlight important updates to members.
Zero Manual Maintenance

Staff no longer need to research or update financial institution data. The agent handles all data collection, freeing the team to focus on member relationships.

GlueUp CRM Integration + Member Recognition

BCCNM manages their membership through GlueUp, a professional member management platform. CDM built a direct API integration between GlueUp and the Resource Hub so that member status is recognized automatically across every feature.

What the Integration Enables

Automatic Member Verification
When a member enters their email on the Event Calendar submission form, the system queries the GlueUp API in real time to verify active membership status. No manual lookup required.
Premium Upload Features Unlocked
Verified BCCNM members automatically unlock premium capabilities: event flyer uploads displayed on the calendar, priority review by staff, community visibility badges, and full network access.
Tiered Event Submission Experience
Non-members see a standard submission form. Members see an enhanced form with the flyer upload field, member badge, and priority processing indicator. The difference is surfaced automatically based on GlueUp data.
Real-Time Sync
Member status changes in GlueUp (new members, renewals, cancellations) are reflected immediately on the platform without any manual intervention from staff.

The integration uses GlueUp's REST API to perform membership lookups, pulling active status, membership tier, and contact details to personalize the platform experience for each member.

BCCNM needed to demonstrate the value of their Resource Hub to funders, board members, and partner institutions. CDM built a comprehensive analytics layer that tracks every meaningful interaction across the platform and makes reporting effortless.
